Engine Mount Kit with Silicone Bushings

PPE’s Performance Engine Mount Kit is a must-have upgrade for superior durability, performance, and reliability. The OEM motor mounts on these GM trucks were made from cheaply formulated rubber compound and deteriorate over time. These OEM mounts are susceptible to cracking, plasticly deforming, and even shearing – they are simply not made for any heavy-duty application or to last the lifetime of the vehicle. The results of these failures include excessive vibration, drivetrain misalignment, and even coolant/fluid leaks.

The PPE High-Performance Silicone Engine Mount Kit is a complete redesign to solve the weaknesses of the OEM mounts. Featuring fully enclosed silicone bushings that provide greater steel-elastomer contact area, and a high-strength steel core that passes through the bushing, these mounts eliminate the elastomer failure that’s commonly found on the OEM mounts, providing maximum support and durability. High strength .200” thick steel brackets and class 10.9 bolts securely anchor the engine to the frame. The tear- and compression-resistant silicone bushings are engineered to handle the high heat of the engine bay while isolating vibration much better than the rubber/polyurethane alternatives. Available in four different bushing durometers ranging from 40A to 70A - there is a perfect match for every build/application.

Choose Your Performance Level

The PPE High-Performance Silicone Engine Mounts are available in four durometers for different applications: 

• Blue (40A): Smooth Street, ideal for maximizing vibration damping and ride quality for street applications.
• Green (50A): OEM Firmness, replicating OEM firmness for occasional towing and off-road driving without sacrificing ride quality.
• Yellow (60A): Street/Performance, perfect for hybrid use, balancing racing and off-road capabilities with street comfort.
• Red (70A): Race/Competition, designed for drag strip and high-performance applications where maximum stiffness and control are desired.
