  • Hey, I’ve got a 12 valve Cummins with the 47rh transmission. I think it has this ultra low stall torque converter because it’s excessively grippy, even without lockup on.95% of the time it’s wonderful for the engine’s low end torque. But when the transmission is cold and I put it in gear, it stalls the engine at idle speed. Is that a bad converter or just the wrong one?Thanks for any help!

    It may be the converter. Testing would need to be done to determine.

    The core can be paid upfront and then refunded, or you can defer the core cost. if you defer the core cost you will have 21 days to get the core back to us.

    If after 21 days the core is not back you will then be charged for the core.
