To
achieve more airflow they use deeper and more pleats per filter.
S&B Filters are manufactured using eight layers of the highest
quality cotton gauze. All of this adds up to more surface area
per filter, which means more airflow to the intake of the engine
and excellent protection. S&B Filters has developed a manufacturing
process that yields filters with almost no bleed creating a
greater open surface area that maximizes airflow to the engine.
