This single fixed vane turbocharger install kit from WCFab for 2001-2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 / 3500 HD trucks contains what you need to swap from your stock IHI style turbo to a larger frame Borg Warner S300 style setup on a 6.6L LB7 Duramax diesel engine. Upgrades your existing air cleaner setup to a 4" fabricated aluminum intake with heavy duty sheet metal air box and high performance dry filter with pre-filter cover. Intercooler hot and cold side charge pipe plumbing are also updated to high flow 3" diameter mandrel bent 14 gauge aluminum tubes. Includes our upgraded high flow 3" fabricated billet y-bridge kit which replaces the restrictive stock upper intake manifold to finish off the air flow path into the engine and allow for maximum horsepower and efficiency gains. Supplied Oil Lines are high-quality stainless steel braided Parker Lines with the oil feed line routing from the main oil galley on the side of the engine block. A variety of popular turbo size options (sold separately) mount to a T4 fabricated steel pedestal with spacer which is compatible with our 2" high flow stainless steel up pipes. Included high temp ceramic coated turbo downpipe connects to your existing exhaust front pipe V-Band clamp. This simplifies installation and requires NO cutting or modification to your exhaust system.
If you are not purchasing a genuine Borg Warner turbo from us, you must specify the brand and details of what you are using so that our sales team can assist you with placing your order and ensure proper fitment. You may be required to ship a separately supplied turbo to us in advance for mock-up to build your kit. Your order lead time starts when we have the turbo needed to build your kit our possession.
Includes Driver Side Transmission Dipstick Tube, making installing the down pipe easier.
***NOTE: Our downpipe is an HX40 style flange connection at the turbo, as this style offers the best seal, alignment, and easiest install. If you are not purchasing a Genuine Borg Warner turbo from us you will need to make sure your exhaust housing is machined to HX40 style outlet flange! Note the picture above for the HX40 flange vs the full marmon standard style.***
***Forward Facing Thermostat Required: The OEM turbo coolant feed port on the upper radiator pipe from the thermostat housing will interfere with the larger WCFAB Turbo Intake in this Kit. Billet Coolant Port Block Off Plugs DO NOT allow enough room for clearance on LB7 Models. You MUST use a WCFAB Billet forward-facing thermostat housing Kit WCF100405 together with this kit to complete the installation. ***
