The Tekonsha Prodigy P2 electric trailer brake controller is a small device with a big responsibility. As one of the most popular and most trusted brake controllers on the market, this proportional brake controller utilizes primary sensor technology to provide a smooth braking response in any stopping situation. The Prodigy P2 has an easy-to-use knob so you can effortlessly set the power output to your desired braking power, a boost feature that lets you apply up to three levels of additional braking power, especially when hauling heavier loads, the choice of electric or electric over hydraulic braking, and manual override to help you brake safely when an unexpected stop pops up. The P2 also has an LED digital display so you can monitor your settings and trailer braking activity and a power-save mode to reduce battery drain when not in use. This intuitive brake controller can easily be positioned on top of or under the dash, with your choice of a mounting bracket or mounting pocket and is self-leveling when mounted within a 90-degree vertical range, so there's no need to adjust the unit once it's installed. When you’re done towing, the P2's snap-in dash mounting clip, Plug & Play port for two plug adapters, and removeable electrical connector allow the unit to be quickly stored. The Prodigy P2 truly is a complete trailer brake controller kit.
