Reviews

  • I have a 1997 12v 4x4 auto 47re and when I start my truck after it’s been sitting for a day or so it slips really bad. If I rev it up to about 2k rpm it will catch and drive for a little and then it feels like it falls out of gear again. Once I do this maybe 2 or three times it has 0 issues with slipping until I let it sit again. The last owner has paperwork from it being rebuilt about 40k miles ago and said it’s done this ever since it was rebuilt. Does this call for another rebuild?

It sounds as though the rebuild process was not done correctly.

  • I have a 47re in a 99 4wd and was wondering what could hold between 5-600 horse and be good for pulling and having fun on the street

  • I have a 47re and was wondering which suncoast rebuild kit would suit 600-700 whp. I have looked around for a power rating and cant find one.
