This filter is manufactured with a washable 8-layer oiled cotton media that delivers a long service life. The top and bottom of this filter is constructed with Silicone and will not deteriorate from high temperatures like a regular rubber filter. An optimum filter surface area is possible thanks to a smooth transition from the complete round entry radius of this filter. This results in better airflow and improved filtration.
