RECON Tailgate Light Bar is a long strip of signal light that you can be easily added to the back of your truck. Although it's a simple modification, adding a Tailgate Light Bar carries a whole lot of advantages. It merges the functionality of all your signal lights as it brightly lights up when braking, signals left or right during turns, blinks when in hazard mode, and turns on when running. The signals from the RECON Tailgate Light Bar operates in conjunction with your existing tail and brake lights to make your vehicle more visible. It also gives your vehicle a unique look, making it stand out from other trucks or SUVs.

These light bars use high-quality 3mm diode LED bulbs that are brighter and longer-lasting compared to old "surface mounted diode" or SMD-type lights. It has a 1-piece weather-proof construction and attaches using extra-strong 3M adhesive tapes. It comes in two sizes, 49 inches for SUVs and smaller trucks and 60 inches for full-size trucks. Designed to plug directly to your vehicle's standard 4-pin trailer light connector or can be stripped and hard-wired for a permanent installation. The small high-intensity LEDs only use a small amount of power and has an in-line replaceable fuse that can prevent damage to the light bar during electrical surges. These lights are approved street legal by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SOE).
