The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

The AirDog Fuel Preporator, with the capability to provide fuel at flows and pressures beyond the maximum requirements of the engine, receives fuel under vacuum from the fuel tank containing entrained air/vapor, particulate contaminates and unknown quantities of moisture. The fuel passes through the water separator which removes the water and large particulate contaminates that could damage or jam the gearator fuel pump. The fuel, with only entrained air/vapor and tiny particulate contaminates remaining, enters the fuel pump.
The fuel, now under positive pressure flow, enters the filter. As the fuel passes through the filter media and the remaining particulate contaminates are caught and contained, the entrained air/vapor is also separated. Through the positive fuel air separation features of the patented Fuel Preporator the separated air/vapor is discharged from the filter through the Primary Air/Vapor Discharge Port and into the return to tank passage after the regulator. The fuel passing through the filter media (free of contaminates & power robbing air/vapor and at pressures and flows to meet the needs of the engine exits the fuel filter through two passageways. The fuel for the engine, passes into the fuel pickup tube and out to the engine).
The excess fuel not needed by the engine is released through the pressure regulator to combine with the air/vapor and foam as it returns to the fuel tank. The regulator controls the fuel pressure to the engine.
The AirDog Fuel Preporator removes various contaminates, including entrained air/vapor, particulates and moisture, and removes excess fuel not needed by engines, allowing the fuel to flow through the regulator and return to the fuel tank. The separated air/vapor enters the return port after the regulator, allowing pure fuel to flow to the engine at a regulated positive pressure. A gerotor pump offers quiet, long lasting performance. No, it will not hurt anything. With the Original AirDog’s High Flow return all excessive fuel not being used by your truck will be returned to the tank. When running the AirDog II 4G the Demand flow only allows the pump to send what fuel is needed to the injection pump, and all other fuel is recirculated internally in the base returning it to the suction side of the pump.
The AirDog II 4G aside from having the adjustable regulator, the pump and base assembly are designed different internally. The pump assembly has a Dual Inlet design allowing more fuel to flow into the Gerotor, this allows the pump to increase volume without having to work any harder. The base on the AirDog II is also much different. Internally the fuel is redirected through passageways after being pressurized, this allows less fuel to be returned to the tank and more fuel to be held in the filters for a true “On Demand” system. An intermediate shaft was also incorporated to completely separate the electric motor from fuel path along with an additional two bearings to reduce drag and increase reliability and lifespan of the AirDog II 4G
Physically there are no differences. The units are the exact same size. The AirDog 100 is a 2000 r.p.m. motor and has a flow rate of 100 gallons. The AirDog 150 uses a 3000 r.p.m. motor and has a flow rate of 150 gallons per hour. Also, depending on the application, the actual installation on the vehicle will differ as well. For Dodge trucks with an in-tank fuel pump, both the 100 and 150 systems will require you to drop the tank and install a suction tube.
All Original AirDog 150, AirDog II 200 Systems and AirDog II 165 Dodge Systems. Any truck that is equipped with an in tank fuel pump will require a suction tube or module upgrade kit
Original AirDog and AirDog II 100 units are recommended for up to 500 horsepower. Original AirDog 150 and AirDog II 165 units are recommended for horsepower up to 1000. AirDog ® II 200 units are recommended for anything that exceeds 1000 horsepower.
