The Mishimoto 5.9L Cummins Essentials Bundles includes high-quality upgraded coolant components to replace items we've found to be the most failure-prone. For the 5.9L, we've bundled together our aluminum radiator, silicone radiator hose kit, and low-temperature thermostat.

As the stand-out component, our aluminum radiator features full aluminum construction with durable TIG-welded end tanks. This radiator is a three-row unit with a 2.44" thick brazed aluminum core. The increased size of our core compared to the stock unit provides greater fluid capacity and superior heat dissipation. To supplement this radiator upgrade, we've included our incredibly robust silicone radiator hose kit for the 5.9L. Mishimoto silicone hoses are constructed from high-grade 4-ply silicone with heat-resistant embedded fibers for superior heat and pressure tolerance. Finally, rounding out our essentials bundle is the Mishimoto low-temperature thermostat. The Mishimoto thermostat has a lower activation temperature (185°F) than the factory thermostat (192°F). The lower activation temperature allows coolant to flow through the engine earlier, reducing the risk of overheating in hot environments.
