Reviews

  • Have read that a Holset HX35W is a much more efficient turbo for a 6.5 GM. Much more air flow? I have an inter-cooled strong motor, no ecm, using manual adjustment to keep boost to max of 18 with a 3" exhaust, DB2 pump. No electronic control. You have a hybrid HX40 35W on list? What would you suggest. Vehicle is a 4WD 3 ton 15"x35"tires 3.55 diff ratio. Just need some response and more grunt. Should pull harder than it does. Am in West Australia. Appreciate advice/help. We have not done the Holset ,on a 6.5l engine, to have good feedback for you. the 12cm will spool faster than the 14cm. the 12cm may be the best choice for your application.
