The HSP Diesel Max Air Flow Bundle Kit for 2020-2025 Chevrolet and GMC L5P Duramax trucks combines HSP’s most popular airflow upgrades into one complete performance package. Designed to improve reliability, airflow efficiency, turbo response, and overall engine bay appearance, this bundle is ideal for stock trucks, tuned applications, towing setups, and performance builds alike.

By upgrading the factory hot side pipe, cold side intercooler pipe, and intake system together, this package eliminates multiple OEM restriction and failure points while maximizing airflow from the intake all the way through the intercooler system.

The factory L5P intake and intercooler piping system is designed around cost and packaging constraints, leaving several weak points in both durability and airflow efficiency. Factory rubber intercooler tubes are prone to swelling, splitting, and leaking under increased boost pressure and heat cycles, while the restrictive intake system limits airflow potential.

The HSP Max Air Flow Bundle replaces those restrictive and failure-prone components with mandrel-bent aluminized steel tubing, reinforced silicone boots, billet aluminum couplers, and HSP’s high-flow MEGA filter intake system. The result is improved reliability, better throttle response, faster turbo spool-up, increased airflow, and a cleaner engine bay appearance.

Air Filter Life System (AFLS) Disable Procedure

Some 2020-2025 L5P Duramax trucks may require disabling the factory Air Filter Life System to prevent false “Change Air Filter” alerts caused by the increased airflow from the HSP intake system.

1. On the Driver Information Center, open the Options menu and select Info Page Options.
2. Verify that Air Filter Life is enabled.
3. Navigate to the Info section and select Air Filter Life.
4. Select Disable.
5. This disables the alert, which cannot recalibrate for increased airflow.
6. Disabling the alert has no effect on vehicle operation.
