While testing DieselSite high pressure oil pumps, they found that the 6.0L pumps were capable of more output that was being limited by a poor delivery system. DieselSite created a new system that will allow even a stock pump to realize more output. But, if you're installing a larger volume hpop - like DieselSite Adrenaline or a dual pump setup in your 6.0L, then this delivery system is required in order to realize the full potential from the larger volume.

With the HPODS for the 6.0L, modified or even stock trucks will notice a quieter engine, quicker starts, better throttle response and more power. Those with larger injectors will notice more power from their programs. You'll be able to maintain higher pressures in your hotter tunes.

DieselSite has put this system together for you with several options.

Basic Kit Includes: - High Pressure Oil Delivery System - will include a CNC machined distribution block, three CNC stainless steel adapters for engine connections, two custom precision hydraulic metering control devices, ICP extension harness, Stainless braided high pressure hoses with firesleeve protectant cover, bracket and hardware, and all fittings to complete the connections for all the high pressure lines. None of the CNC pieces, extension harness, or flow control valves included in DieselSite system can be purchased anywhere. DieselSite had to design these for this application.  The hoses we use are the best that can be made. They are factory built, stainless braided high pressure hoses made to withstand 5000psi constant working pressure, 20,000lb burst pressure, and 600 degrees. This is not your typical hydraulic hose.

Valve Cover: To install this system, you must install a 2004.5-2007 passenger side valve cover on the driver's side of the engine. you can source these yourself, or for your convenience, we have purchased used valve covers, blasted and painted them, and offer this reconditioned valve cover with the required ICP plug hole seal and the plug to fill the oil fill hole. These valve covers are "used", so they may have small imperfections in them. We throw out the junk.

Crankcase Vent Kit: When you remove the driver's side valve cover to install the passenger side unit, you are also removing the factory crankcase vent. This must now be relocated. you can do this on your own using many different methods, but we offer a simple solution that is very clean and easy to install. This kit screws into the oil fill tube and routes crankcase vapors to the inlet of your intake tube. (original termination).

FAQ

Q: Will this eliminate the factory system? I have a current leak in mine.

A: No, this is a parallel system. It feeds the heads along with your factory system.

Q: Why won't this work on the 03 models?

A. The 2003-early 2004 model year trucks were not equipped with the ports in the oil rails to make this system possible. If you are rebuilding the engine, and you upgrade your oil rails to the later models, then you can use the HPODS.

Reviews

  • Do you still use the oil rail system in the engine block or is that blocked off and this setup supplies all of the high pressure oil to the system? Thanks

Yes, this is a parallel system. It feeds the heads along with your factory system.

  • Can this system be used with the dual alternator setup?
