Fuel Filter and Water Separator for FASS Red Base 95 Series, Blue Base, Grey Base and Black Base (Small filters)

Our FASS replacement filter combo gives you both the wire mesh particulate filter and hydroglass extreme water separator together in one convenient package.

Wire Mesh (Particulate Filter)

The new particulate filter is rated @ 144 microns. The 144 micron particulate filter on the suction side will drastically reduce cavitation, increase flow properties, lower the sound output of the fass system, and removes larger fuel particulates. The new XWS-3002 MUST be used in conjunction with the PF-3001, the new filters cannot be used in combination with the FF-3003/FF-3010 or FS-1001/FS-1020.

Hydroglass (Extreme Water Separator)

The new more efficient extreme water separator is rated @ 2 microns absolute. The reason the water separator no longer has a drain is because the filter element itself traps the water. The new XWS-3002 MUST be used in conjunction with the PF-3001, the new filters cannot be used in combination with the Fass FF-3003/FF-3010 or FS-1001/FS-1020.

Note: When replacing the discontinued filters with the new XWS-3002 and PF-3001, the XWS-3002 will now be placed on the pressure side of the pump and the PF-3001 will be placed on the suction side. PLEASE SEE THE LOCATION DIAGRAM ON THE NEW FILTERS FOR PROPER FILTER PLACEMENT!
