The Mag-Hytec F 6.7L Diesel Engine Oil Pan is a great upgrade to the factory oil pan in your 2011-2019 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke. Eliminate the plastic pan found in the earlier 6.7L models, or replace the steel pan on the later models. The larger design gives you an increased oil capacity allowing you to hold 2 more quarts over stock. This pan features a built-in o-ring seal and includes all hardware needed for installation.

    No it will read correct.

  • Why would you want to put on a drain pan and add 2 more quarts over stock? What would happen if you put this part on and did add the extra 2 quarts?

    You would add this part to add the extra 2 quarts of oil for better cooling of the engine and better lubrication of engine parts. The finned design allows to cool more efficiently than the factory pan that is not finned, if you were in a heavy towing situation or competition use this pan would be a good upgrade for your truck.
