2500 and 3500 HD Silverado/Sierra's equipped with the 6.6L Duramax routinely have factory TCM issues that cause limp mode, loss of PRNDL display, and trigger check engine lights. The DuramaxTuner Pre-Tuned Replacement TCM is a brand new and upgraded TCM for your stock late 2015 and 2016 Allison 1000 T87 Transmission Control Module.  Your new TCM will arrive pre-programmed for your VIN and includes our custom TCM Tuning. 

THIS PRODUCT WILL NOT REPLACE AND IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH A T14 TCM 

TRANSMISSION TUNING 2015.5-2016 LML

Why do you need TCM Tuning?

Benefits of TCM tuning over stock include: 

  • Raised mainline pressure for improved clutch holding capacity and improved transmission life (a DuramaxTuner Exclusive feature)
  • Refined shift schedule to take advantage of the wide Duramax Torque curve
  • Improved torque converter clutch engagement settings to allow lockup under heavy loads, planting the power to the ground and lower trans temps
  • Torque limitations adjusted to allow high RPM fueling in performance applications
  • 2nd gear start in 4wd low range (can tap down to first)
  • Further adjustments are available for customers with larger than stock turbochargers or significantly oversized tires 

TCM Tuning is especially important for trucks with:

  • Larger tires (35”+)
  • Modified turbo(s)
  • Built transmission
  • Any modification that impacts operating RPMs

Towing

  • Hi, I ordered the pre tuned tcm for my duramax in August. Do you guys have any information on when they are coming in? When I ordered it, I didn’t see they were on back order on the website but when I got the email after I purchased it said they were. I just want to know if there is any news because I’m dying for the part to come in, it’s been almost 4 months. Im definitely not happy and I know it’s not your guys fault but if I can’t get any information I am going to have to cancel my order.
