High Output Flow Water pump. Delivers 25% more coolant flow to help the early 6.0s with the heating issues they have.

In 2004.5-2007 Ford upgraded the 6.0 Powerstroke water pump to overcome 2 shortcomings of the earlier model:

• Consistent failures of the plastic impeller
• Inadequate coolant flow

When we looked at these concerns, we wanted to overcome these while still maintaining a economical solution. We took our technology from producing the Wicked Wheel 2 billet turbo compressor wheels. If we could make an impeller with the same aircraft quality aluminum we would increase the strength and if designed properly, increase coolant flow thus overcoming the heating issues of the early model 6.0 Powerstrokes.

Some companies have approached this by developing a complete billet water pump. While this may be very attractive, the functionality of the pump is more important at an affordable price.
