Product Details

Product Name: Performance Injectors (Sold as Set)
Manufacturer: DDP
Application: 1989-1993 Dodge Cummins

Dodge Ram Cummins 1989-1993 First Gen 5.9L Injector Set: Economy Series injector with Brand New Nozzle and Brand New injector body, OEM quality with slight performance gain over stock. No cheap Knockoffs!

NON-INTERCOOLED ENGINE FITMENT NOTE: Non-Intercooled engines come from the factory with a 9mm diameter injector nozzle bore in the cylinder head.  All Dynomite Diesel injectors for this application come with a 7mm diameter injector nozzle along with a standard 1.5mm thick copper washer.  Many manufacturers supply a copper sleeve to adapt the 7mm diameter injector nozzle to the 9mm diameter bore in the Non-Intercooled cylinder head but this is not needed.  At Dynomite we've been running the standard copper washer with a Non-Intercooled cylinder head for over 20 years now with zero issues.  We actually prefer the standard 1.5mm copper washer as compared to the adapter sleeve as it is 0.5mm thinner than the copper sleeve adapter and physically moves the tip of the nozzle closer to the piston resulting in a cleaner burn with improved fuel economy and power output.  If you still want to run the copper sleeve adapter you can but they are not recommended by Dynomite.  9mm Adapter Sleeve is Cummins PN: 3919358

  • I have an 89 non intercooled 12v cummins, I am wondering if the spray pattern in correct? Because I know that the intercooled cummins have a different spray pattern

Yes spray pattern will be correct.

  • What are the proper supporting mods to start with stage one injectors? What do I need to do in order to get the most out of the injectors? My truck is a 1990 w250 12v.

1st is to make sure your VE pump is capable of the upgrade. you can  Add a fuel pin and 3200 governor spring to help support the increase in fuel demand.
