If you are towing heavy loads, using a downloader/programmer, or running modified injectors then the Quadzilla Boost Fooler is a MUST HAVE PRODUCT!

While programmers can definitely improve performance, there are still things that they cannot do to allow you to gain optimal power and efficiency out of your engine. The Boost Fooler will allow you to increase turbo boost to compensate for the added fueling modifications you have made. Enabling your turbo to produce more boost will increase overall horsepower and torque and lower your exhaust temperatures.

The Boost Fooler is also a great enhancement for a stock truck that hauls heavy loads and needs exhaust temperature reduction. Even on a stock truck you can easily gain 5-8psi of boost pressure to help cool your EGTs (depending on fueling mods). You will also see a slight improvement in peak horsepower.

The Quadzilla Boost Fooler uses a specialized high impedance circuit to allow you to make more turbo boost without setting any ECU error codes. The Boost Fooler is 100% weatherproof and designed for simple under-the-hood installation.

You will be able to make as much turbo boost as possible with your fueling modifications. It is important to notice that the stock turbos do have some limitations.

If you desire extreme levels of turbo boost, you may need a larger, aftermarket turbocharger. Horsepower gains will vary from 10hp on a stock truck up to 50hp on heavily modified trucks. EGT reductions will vary from 75°F on a stock truck and up to 300°F on heavily modified trucks.

On 1998.5-2004 5.9L Cummins you will need to physically modify your wastegate to gain more turbo boost. Doing this without the Boost Fooler will result in check engine lights and codes set into the computer. Stock 98-04 trucks should generate 18-23psi of boost pressure stock (depending on year model). With the Quadzilla Boost Fooler you will be able to run 35+ psi of boost depending on your fueling enhancements. For these year trucks, we suggest using an Edge boost elbow.

Reviews

  • I have a 2000 Cummins and I did an edge EZ and installed the boost elbow.. now my fuel pressure is dropping when I come up on the boost and then boost drops down to 20 psi will this solve my issue?

    KJ Newsome | 12/29/2021

No.  When your truck is low on fuel pressure it wont make boost.  I would examine the lift pump as possibly failing.  The boost fooler will not fix that.

  • I have a 2001 Dodge ram 2500 5.9 Cummins 24valve. It currently is set up with and edge performance tuner w/5step adjustable control box in the can. The cruise control will not work now. Lights comes on but won't function and it's throwing throttle position sensor code. Will this solve that issue?

    Jeremiah Duckham | 7/13/2021

No, this item is to fool the computer on the amount of boost the truck is producing.

  • Will the edge boost good for a1999 stock 5.9 24 valve Cummins

    Wilmer Asbury | 4/20/2020

It will let you build 10 lbs of boost over stock.

  • will this fit on a 98 24v cummins?

    andrew white | 2/13/2020

Yes it will fit your 24 valve Dodge Cummins.

  • What do they mean physically modify the waste gate what do u gotta do to it

    Wes Perrin | 3/7/2020

Manually adjust the wastegate. This will allow truck to build more boost. But it will throw a over boost code, without the boost fooler.
