The Common Rail Essential Short Block is built for durability and reliability, making it an ideal replacement for 2003-2018 Dodge/RAM Cummins applications. Each short block is fully disassembled, crack-checked, and precision-machined to meet OEM specifications. Features new pistons, bearings, and gaskets. Manufactured by D&J Precision Machine, this short block ensures long-lasting operation and dependable performance for daily-driven and work truck applications.

• Precision Machined & Fully Remanufactured – CNC blue printed, bored, honed and surfaced.
• Comprehensive inspection checks for cracks, threaded holes, crank straightness and size and all other critical areas addressed.
• All critical dimensions including bearing clearances, piston-to-wall clearance, piston protrusion, deck and hone surfaces all measured. Piston, rods and ring gaps are all checked and corrected as needed.
• D&J engines are assembled in a clean room environment by skilled technicians ensuring top quality.
• Does NOT include oil pan, oil filter housing or timing cover.
