Carli Suspension CS-DMRC6-03-D Premium Mult-Rate Coil Springs for the Dodge Ram 2500 with Diesel engines are designed to withstand full coil bind and bounce right back to their original height. Carli Suspension's RAM Front Coils were meticulously designed to tackle various problems associated with both factory and aftermarket coil springs.
Initially, compressing these springs for the first few inches is effortless. As you exert additional force, the coils gradually draw closer together. Beyond a specific threshold, the coils located in the lower quarter of these springs begin to make contact with one another, ultimately rendering that section inactive or "dead," resulting in increased spring stiffness. The greater the force you apply to our multi-rate spring, the higher the rate of stiffness. Consequently, these springs exhibit compliance to minor road imperfections, yet deliver control when required during off-road adventures, aggressive braking, and sharp turns. These springs enable you to achieve peak performance during spirited driving while maintaining a smooth and comfortable ride during regular use.
