The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

August 2025 #dieseltips® Roundup
Every month, we drop a fresh batch of #dieseltips® to keep your wrenching a little easier and a lot more entertaining. August didn’t disappoint. From check engine lights to missing bolts, here are the highlights:
dieseltip #367
Check engine lights aren’t problems, they’re conversation starters.
dieseltip #368
Sometimes you just need to walk out, fire up the truck, and listen. No excuse required.
dieseltip #369
Drop a bolt once, and it’ll bounce into another dimension. Guaranteed.
dieseltip #370
Torque specs come in two flavors: “good enough” and “we’ll know if it leaks.”
dieseltip #371
Some days you wrench. Some days you stare at the truck and try not to cry. Both count as progress.
dieseltip #372
Diesel patience = owning a truck that’s been “almost done” for seven years straight.
dieseltip #373
If the check engine light goes out on its own, it’s either fixed or the bulb’s gone. Either way… win.
dieseltip #374
That $40 tool? Worth every penny compared to three wasted hours, two bruises, and your will to live.
From busted knuckles to mystery fixes, August’s #dieseltips® reminded us all that owning a diesel is equal parts patience, humor, and pride. Stay tuned for September, we’ve got plenty more truths from the shop floor coming your way.
