ATS 6019244308 24 Pin Co-Pilot Transmission Controller enables the 6-speed Allison transmission in your 2006-2007 GM 6.6L Duramax LBZ to handle more power. The Co-Pilot allows you to increase the horsepower in your truck without having the transmission go into "Fail Safe" mode. This allows your transmission to handle up to 85 HP and 120 TQ over stock (roughly 425HP/650TQ) with no other modifications. 

The Co-Pilot kit increases line pressure to the transmissions clutch packs during full throttle or high boost situations. The transmission clutch packs receive more than 2.5 times the stock pressure (approximately 230-PSI) with the Co-Pilot installed. Line pressure and torque converter lockup is increased based on Boost Pressure (MAP), Vehicle Speed (VSS), and Throttle Position (TPS). With the Race Mode engaged, the torque converter goes into lockup after the 1-2 shift while maintaining full line pressure for a more aggressive feel. 

Note: Co-Pilot for the 6-Speed Allison transmissions require the ATS Deep Transmission Pan

    The ATS CoPilot provide you the ultimate in push-button control over when the torque converter locks up in your vehicle, allowing you to select the vehicle speed where the torque converter clutch will engage (lock up) and disengage. Your truck's factory programming doesn't initiate lock up until cruising speed and disengages lock up early under many conditions, inhibiting your truck's performance. The Commander and Co-Pilot resolve this issue by holding lock up offering better acceleration and cooler transmission running temperatures.

  • I recently bought an ats stage 3 from you folks for my 01 dodge 3500. I’ve hooked up the copilot and doesn’t seam to do anything other than my converter won’t lock up at all. And when I shut the controller off I lose my speedometer. I’ve double checked all my connections and I don’t run any other programmer. Computer has never been touched. I’ve owned this truck since it was new. Any suggestions would be great.
