There's a black seal in the kit (3802820) that I can't figure out. My best guess is it's to go over the wear sleeve. And is the depth guide that comes with the kit supposed to slide right in our does it need to be hammered in? Or do I need a new timing cover?

3802820. This is the only way Cummins lists the parts
Where is this kit made? I think I have a counterfit from elsewhere and Im not using it!

Is the seal larger to accommodate the wear sleeve or is it the same size as OE? If it is larger, what is the part number?

It is larger, the only way it is sold is as the 3802820 full kit.
