Application Notes

  • For MY2004.5 trucks, you must verify proper fitment using the VIN. To do this, verify that the tenth digit of your VIN is a 5 or higher. If the tenth digit is a 4, you need to purchase FPE-351-0304.

    POSSIBLE CAUSES
     -  Other DTC's
     -  Wastegate stuck
     -  Turbocharger and/or wastegate damage
     -  Wastegate
     -  Turbocharger
     -  Wastegate control valve

  • I bought and Installed this turbo and I am getting overboost codes and bad surging at full throttle. Not sure what tune is in it but there is something. Banks air ram and bd cold air intake installed. Any idea why? Or how to fix. Wastegate solenoid is installed and hooked up.

    No, here are the notes:

    For MY 2004.5-2007 trucks equipped with a wastegate control solenoid. Reinstall the solenoid into the front cover of the turbocharger and connect the electrical connector. This instruction only applies to turbocharger model FPE-351-0407.
