BD's 5 Ply Intercooler Hose 3" for 1994-2002 Dodge Cummins diesels is a great upgrade. Each Hose is designed to meet 3x their working pressure, Utilizing 4, 5 plies of DuPont Nomex / Aramid fiber (no inferior Polyester is used) . Higher pressure applications have a Red Iron Oxide internal color . Flurosilicone elastomers and Fluorocarbon withstands oily residues. All clamps are different but I would shop for 3” clamps that will open to accommodate this boot and this will give you more clamp. A 3.5, depending on its working sizing, may be too big.
