Reviews

  • Does the hot rod vp44 have better capabilities for tuning than a stock vp44?

    sawyer | 4/6/2023

No, the tuning options do not change. Only the amount of fuel the pump is able to supply.

  • So I have a 2001 dodge ram 3500 and I had the injector pump go out. I have a 100 gph lift pump already on it and I don’t know what injection pump I should get to support that or what injectors if I need them.

    Joseph | 3/24/2023

The standard vp44 will support up to 500hp. The hotrod pump will allow you to build to 600hp.

Injectors you choose should be based on the turbo you have and what you do with the truck. Ie( towing or daily driver)

  • Is this vp44 compatible with the 5 speed manual for a 98.5 24 valve? I always saw that the vin was incorporated with getting the correct one.

    Kyle Boedeker | 11/13/2020

This here is a Hotrod pump which is a performance injection pump. In order to run this pump you would need minimum 100hp injectors and a performance programmer that adds timing. We offer stock injection pumps also.

  • Can you install this on a stock engine and fuel system and still increase hp without damage to the pump. Was looking for a little more fuel to bump the hp

    DANIEL L BENEST-WILSON | 8/19/2019

With this pump you have to at least run a 100hp injector with a fass or air dog fuel system and a programmer so the truck will run right.

  • Will this pump work with the high output engine?

    Jacob Burton | 7/6/2019

Yes this pump will work with the standard and high output engines.
