It is non-corrosive to soft yellow metals (brass, bronze, copper, etc.) and synchronizer safe. We do not suggest using a different weight oil unless the MFG of the oil or the unit suggest that you do so.
The 2010 Mini Coopers could have had 3 different manual trans oil recommendations. If it is a 53BG manual, it can take Royal Purple Synchromax. If it is a 55BG with a BLUE sticker, it takes the Syncromax and if it’s a YELLOW sticker 55BG then it can use this 75W-90 Royal Purple.
