Thoroughbred Diesel would like for you to shop with confidence.
Customer satisfaction is our number one goal. If you are
not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, return
the item within 30 days from the date received for an
exchange, store credit, or credit depending on the products
condition. Shipping is not refundable. RMA #'s are only
valid for 14 days. After 14 days customers have to request
and have a new RMA # approved.
Defective Items
In the event an item arrives in an unacceptable condition
as a result of a manufacturer defect, Thoroughbred Diesel
will go above and beyond to resolve the issue. Follow
our Return Procedure to easily handle
any returns.
Damaged Items
Thoroughbred Diesel thinks UPS is great! However, in the
event a package appears damaged during shipping, please
refuse shipment of the item and follow our Return
Procedure.
Exchanges
Items in new condition (including original packaging,
paperwork, hardware and instructions) may be returned
for exchange. No restocking fee will be charged on exchanges.
Warranty
Thoroughbred Diesel does not manufacturer any of the products
they carry and therefore do not imply nor offer any warranty
on them. All product warranties if any, implied have been
done so at the discretion of the manufacturer. If you
need warranty assistance on any product you’ve purchased,
please contact the manufacturer directly.
Within
24-48 hours our returns department will contact you
either via e-mail or phone call.
Our
returns department will issue a RMA# and provide further
instructions to complete the return. RMA
#'s are only valid for 14 days. After 14 days customers
have to request and have a new RMA # approved.
Preparing
your item for shipment:
a. Returns must be packaged securely in an outer carton.
b. Do not write on the original product packaging
itself. Only on the outside shipping carton.
c. Returned product must be in new, re-saleable condition,
with all original boxes, packaging, parts, cables,
manuals, etc.
d. Keep your tracking number until the return process
is finalized.
Upon receipt, all returns will be inspected, and,
at our discretion, credit may be refused or a restocking
fee up to 15% may be assessed.
Customer
is responsible for shipping cost incurred on returned
products. Original shipping charges will not be refunded.
If an item is deemed defective upon receipt, Thoroughbred
Diesel will provide a pre-paid return shipping label.
Once we have confirmed the package is in transit,
we will ship you a replacement.

Reasons/Circumstances a credit will not be issued:
Product has been installed
Product is damaged from installation
Missing parts, manuals, or original packaging
Seal on electrical part is broken
Product serial number does not match the original
serial number shipped to the buyer
Product is deemed not re-saleable due to customers

Special Orders are not returnable or refundable.
Thoroughbred Diesel will not reimburse labor charges
or installation fees under any circumstance.

Special restrictions apply to some of our manufacturers.
PPE – Only returnable if unopened.
If an item is opened, used or defective, a RMA number
must be obtained from PPE. Once the RMA number is
received, please follow our Return Procedure
to complete the return.
S&B – S&B requires a 15% restocking
fee on any returned item. This is S&B’s
policy and out of Thoroughbred Diesel’s control.
H&S
– All returns must be inspected by H&S before
any credit will be issued. H&S charges a 10% repackaging
fee, 15% if there are missing parts, and 20% if the
screen is scratched and the unit has to be sold as
a refurbished item.

Thoroughbred Diesel exclusively ships via UPS on all orders
considered non truck freight. We only ship to the fifty
U.S states and Canada which excludes all other international
destinations. In the event that you, the customer, places
an order to an International address not listed above,
Thoroughbred Diesel reserves the right to cancel your
order and issue a full refund.
* In most cases Thoroughbred Diesel only needs one address,
as long as your product is shipping to the same location
as your billing information. In order to eliminate credit
card fraud your billing information must match the credit
card you provide. If you want to ship to an address different
from your billing address, we require a copy of your driver’s
license faxed (859-737-1865) or emailed to sales@thoroughbreddiesel.com.
* Shipping Times
Most
products ordered will ship within 1-2 business days.
Some exceptions may include back ordered and/or direct
ship items. Thoroughbred Diesel has numerous warehouses
across the country allowing us to reach 90% of the
U.S. within 2 days.
Non-stock, special order and out of stock items may
take 1-2 weeks to be received. If you would like to
check inventory or estimated ship date please contact

Although we take great pride in delivering products
quickly, we only guarantee product arrivals on expedited
shipping for products that are in stock.

Free Ground or Next Day Air Shipping
Free Ground or Next Day Air Shipping is available
on specially marked products on Thoroughbreddiesel.com.
This free shipping offer is good only to US addresses
in the 48 contiguous states, which excludes Hawaii,
Alaska, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This
offer does not apply to truck freight items.
Specially marked items with Free Next Day Air shipping
is not available to Canadian customers. Thoroughbred
Diesel will ship any product listed with Free Next
Day Air shipping UPS Standard Ground free of charge.
* Canadian
customers are responsible for all duties and taxes incurred.
* APO/FPO Shipping (Military Address) – Thoroughbred
Diesel cannot ship product directly to APO or FPO addresses
because we exclusively use UPS for shipments and they
do not allow shipments to these addresses. As an option,
you may want to consider shipping to a stateside street
address and then sending the package to the APO/FPO address
overseas via the US Postal Service.
Core
Policy
*
Definition of Core: The core is the old unit which is
being replaced by a new or rebuilt item.
* Many stock replacement parts such as turbos, injectors,
injection pumps, and high pressure oil pumps have a core
charge that is associated with the new replacement part.
You must return the old core to receive a refund
on the core charge. All cores must be like for like and
include all parts and pieces that were received on your
new replacement product.
* All cores must be in rebuildable condition to receive
a refund of the core charge (Burnt, water damaged, or
broken cores will be rejected).
No upfront Core Charge
Thoroughbred Diesel has implemented a policy on many products
that eliminates the upfront core charge at time of purchase
reducing out of pocket expense to the consumer. As long
as the core is returned within 14 days from the time of
receipt, the customer will never be charged a core charge.
* PayPal & All Other Non Credit Card Orders:
All non credit card orders, such as PayPal, Google Checkout,
and eBay will require that we have a credit card on file
on orders with a core value. The on file credit card will
not be charged unless the core is not returned in the
specified time frame. We can also arrange a refundable
core charge as well. If you choose to pay via one of these
methods a Thoroughbred Diesel sales agent will contact
you to obtain a credit card for our files. For any questions,

* Core Physical Condition:
There are some reasons you would not receive payment on
your core or you would receive a partial refund on your
core.

Missing parts and/or pieces
The
refund amount is not determined by Thoroughbred Diesel,
but by the manufacturer receiving the core. In the event
you will not receive a full refund, you will be contacted
by the Thoroughbred Diesel core department.
* Core Charge Timeline:
The credit card that we have on file will be charged
for the amount of the core (amount will vary depending
on the part, and will appear on the invoice).
If the core is returned after 30 days, a refund of
the core charge minus 15% will be issued to the customer.
If the core is returned after 60 days, a refund of
the core charge minus 30% will be issued to the customer.
If the core is returned after 90 days, a refund of
the core charge minus 50% will be issued to the customer.
Core
Return Procedure
Please retain all packaging of your new item to be
used for the core return.
Drain
all fluids: oil, fuel, etc. out of the core before
it is returned.
Place
any plastic plugs or caps received on the new item
back onto the core.
To
insure UPS will not reject the package due to fuel
or oil leakage, please put inside and wrap in plastic
garbage bag.
Place
core inside the box.
If
there was core return paperwork inside the box, please
complete the form and send back with the core.
Thoroughbred
Diesel provides a pre-paid shipping label for any
product that does not require an upfront core charge.
This is usually sent to the billing address provided
within 2-4 business days via US Postal Service.
If
for any reason, you decide to return the new pump,
DO NOT use the return label provided because it will
be processed as a core. Please reference the Return
Procedure or contact the Thoroughbred Diesel Returns
department at 866-737-4966.

you would like the return label sent to a different
address or you no longer have your return label, please
contact Thoroughbred Diesel’s core department
at 866-737-4966 or e-mail cores@thoroughbreddiesel.com.
Customers
outside the continental US (lower 48 states) will
be responsible for shipping the core back. UPS return
service labels can only be sent to customers in the
lower 48 US states. Please call if you have any questions.
If
you are responsible for shipping the core back to
Thoroughbred Diesel, please provide a tracking number
to cores@thoroughbreddiesel.com.
Without a confirmed tracking number, we cannot guarantee
your core refund.
