Today's high efficiency, light duty diesels demand the best turbocharger
when optimizing for power, response and efficiency. The PhatShaft
series of turbos by Industrial Injection offer the ultimate blend
of design features making it superior to any other turbocharger on
the market. The PhatShaft turbo line is proven to provide lower exhaust
gas temperatures while increasing performance and fuel economy.
All PhatShaft turbos are designed to directly replace the Dodge 5.9L
Cummins stock turbo. Industrial Injection's unique ability to test
and perfect the PhatShaft turbo line sets it apart from the rest of
the industry. Not only do we have the ability to create the PhatShaft
chargers in house, we have the capability to fuel our own test vehicles
in our state of the art fuel injection shop.

PhatShaft
(65mm T-wheel) For mild fuel upgrade |
The
PhatShaft 62 is the perfect
replacement turbo for towing. The PhatShaft 62
can be purchased with a 12 or 14 turbine housing matched
with a 65mm turbine. We suggest a 12 cm turbine housing
if the truck has moderate fueling upgrades such as 300hp
injectors and a cam plate. If the truck has heavier fueling
upgrades such as 370hp injectors, aggressive cam plate
and governor springs then you will be better suited with
14cm housing. The benefit of the 14cm exhaust housing
is lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures but it will be slower
to spool in daily driving situations. The wategate is
set at 40psi to prevent head gasket failure. The PhatShaft
62 compliments moderate fueling upgrades and can support
300 - 550hp. The 62 is a drop in replacement however,
a HX40 downpipe is required for installation.

The
PhatShaft 64 is mid range
replacement turbo for towing. The PhatShaft can
be purchased with a 12 or 14 turbine housing matched with
a 65mm turbine however we suggest sticking with the 14cm
exhaust housing. The benefit of the 14cm exhaust housing
is lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures but it will be slower
to spool in daily driving situations. The original PhatShaft
64 features 64 mm compressor with extended tip technology.
The wategate is set at 45psi. All PhatShaft turbochargers
are equipped with dual grooved bearings and an adjustable
boost elbow. The original PhatShaft compliments moderate
fueling upgrades and can support 300 - 550hp.

for performance and light towing. The PhatShaft
66 comes standard with a 14cm exhaust housing and can
be special ordered with a 12cm housing. This turbine features
a 65mm turbine exducer. The wategate is set at 45psi when
it leaves Industrial Injection however boost levels can
be adjusted with the adjustable boost elbow. All PhatShaft
turbochargers are equipped with dual grooved bearings
and an adjustable boost elbow. The original PhatShaft
66 compliments mid to high range fueling upgrades and
can support 350 - 650hp.
