COMPRESSOR WHEEL: This high performance compressor wheel has been designed to not only reduce turbo noise at mid range RPM, but also virtually eliminates compressor surge (a common problem in 7.3L motors at 1800-2100 RPM). These wheels feature a "lowered vane" design which increases and improves flow throughout the entire RPM range. The wheel can be installed in about 1 hour. Customers tell us that these wheels not only reduce surge and improve all around performance, they also help lower EGT's IMPORTANT INFO: Tq specs: 120lbs p. sq inch WASTEGATE: The High Tech Slim-line actuator features a spring which supports up to&20 lbs more boost pressure than stock. Additional Options: PORTED TURBINE HOUSING: We highly recommend the ported housings from ATS when doing this combination These housings are relatively easy to change. (And since the turbine housing bolts often come loose on these turbo's, it gives you an opportunity to head off more major problems before they occur.) Your stock turbo is most likely equipped with a 1.15 A/R turbine housing. A 1.00 A/R housing will improve bottom-end response and increase boost.
