Designed Performance Injectors
Edge Products introduces its own line of high output fuel injectors
for Cummins light duty engines. These "Jammer" injectors
are brand new custom designed injectors that include new bodies as-well-as
nozzles so there are no core charges. They are not "remanufactured"
or modified stock units and give both better performance and longer
durability. Jammers are available for 1998.5-2002 5.9L Cummins ISB
engines in Dodge Ram trucks and RV coaches.
Add
gains of 50-150 horsepower and 100-300 ft. lbs. of torque. Jammer injectors now available in five configurations. The
following power gains are representative of a Dodge 5.9L Cummins
equipped with the Jammer injectors:
Stage 1: 50 Horsepower - 100 Foot Pounds of Torque
Stage 2: 75 Horsepower - 150 Foot Pounds of Torque
Stage 3: 100 Horsepower - 200 Foot Pounds of Torque
Stage 4: 125 Horsepower - 250 Foot Pounds of Torque
Stage 5: 150 Horsepower - 300 Foot Pounds of Torque
8 holes instead of 7 for better distribution of fuel means more
power and better gas mileage
The process used to create these injector nozzles intricately
creates 8 orifices in the injector tips. Compared to the stock
7 orifice injectors, jammers achieve better fuel distribution
with 8 smaller orifices rather than 7 larger ones. The increased
number of orifices enables the injectors to deliver more fuel
when required while maintaining mileage. The result is more
power and improved combustion chamber cleanliness.
Increases fuel economy
Across the board, Jammer injectors can also improve fuel economy
by up to 1.5 MPG depending on individual driving style.
Precision Quality
Edge Products machining process also matches flow rate to within 1%
among injectors, further enhancing engine performance - the stock
injectors can vary as much as 1% per set.
