Overcome head gasket failures that can occur in your Dodge Cummins diesel with ARP head studs!

At Thoroughbred Diesel, we offer a few package deals to help you shop efficiently for your Cummins diesel:

These ARP studs are rated at 220,000 psi tensile strength, and provide the clamping force required to keep cylinder heads from lifting due to higher combustion pressures. Manufactured from proprietary ARP 2000 material, with threads rolled after heat-treat to provide optimum fatigue strength. They are centerless ground to assure perfect concentricity. The ends of the studs are broached to facilitate easy installation. This feature also enables the cylinder head to be removed in tight quarters. Also included in each kit are heat-treated, chrome-moly steel 12-point nuts and parallel-ground washers. They are black oxide finished for extra durability.

ARP cylinder head studs are the clear favorite among top professional engine builders in nearly every form of motor sports. ARP uses a premium grade 8740 alloy that is rated superior to aircraft quality. Then each stud is specially heat treated in a vertical fixture that insures complete heat penetration. After heat treating the studs are centerless ground for precise concentricity, and then the threads are rolled which gives them ten times better fatigue strength than competitor's studs. It costs more to do it this way and it is very hard on the tooling but the results are well worth the extra expense. ARP stud kits are available for almost every domestic and import application and you just won't find a better product on the market from any other source.

Includes 12-point nuts.
