Product Details

Product Name: SpeedBrake Includes iDash 1.8 Super Gauge
Manufacturer: Banks
Application: 2004.5-2010 GM Duramax 6.6L

The World's First All-Electronic Braking System. Cuts downhill speed up to 78 percent. All automatic, user selectable speed. Simple plug-n-play installation, no cutting or welding required. Extends the service life of your brakes, and does so while maintaining your sanity.

This all-electronic braking system intelligently modulates existing systems found on the truck to achieve maximum braking power. By manipulating the variable geometry turbo vanes in unison with torque converter lock up and deliberate gear selection, you get hands (and feet) free, automatic hill-taming stopping power! The SpeedBrake lets you set your desired downhill speed and then takes over from there.

Included with the Banks SpeedBrake is the powerful Banks iDash 1.8. This super gauge has a full color screen that has OBDII scan tool capability to read and clear trouble codes, various engine monitors, speed control, and 3 different strength operation modes (Low, Medium, & High). iDash has on-screen indicators that will alert drivers to things like excessive coolant or transmission temperatures to keep your truck safe. The easy all-electronic plug & play design means there are only a few simple underhood connection needed with no modifications to the exhaust system needed.
