If you own a Ram truck, chances are you have received a TSB from FCA/Stellantis regarding the risk of fire due to hot transmission fluid overflowing out of the filler tube and onto the turbo and manifold. Unfortunately, this is a risk for any car or truck that experiences a transmission failure and that led us to create the ATS Doomsday Device.

The ATS Doomsday Device locks onto the top of the transmission filler tube via a set screw and redirects any overflowing fluid down a supplied tube instead of blowing the dipstick out and sending fluid upon the turbo and manifold.

This is a must have item that will give you peace of mind for nearly any application, especially the new Ram trucks!

ATS Doomsday Device Dipstick Overflow Control Features:

  • Prevents catastrophic damage as a result of engine fires
  • Simple, easy installation takes only minutes
  • Fits nearly any application
  • No permanent modifications required

Reviews

  • Will this allow moisture into the trans?

    Paul Bird | 11/22/2022

No, it should not allow moisture into the transmission.

  • Where is this supposed to get zip-tied to? If the hose goes to the bottom of the truck and ATF spilled out of it would it not just coat the exhaust and create the same issue that is trying to be solved?

    Gus T | 9/13/2022

The ATS Doomsday Device locks onto the top of the transmission filler tube via a set screw and redirects any overflowing fluid down a supplied tube instead of blowing the dipstick out and sending fluid upon the turbo and manifold. The idea is to keep the fluid away from any of area that could cause a fire.
