My build
from the ground up.
I bought
this pickup with around 125,000 miles and proceeded to tear
it down to build a project truck that could be used to work
hard and play hard. It has a custom 5" long travel suspension
up front and a custom 4 link auto level air ride in the rear.
The frame has been plated from the tube section under the
cab back over the axle. The cab was stripped and the inside
was coated with Line-X to seal and kill noise. A new carpet
kit was installed, and the front seat was replaced with a
newer seat out of a 2002 dodge. I have installed custom gauges,
a fold down DVD player, and a Pioneer CD player with blue
tooth, and ipod connection. This truck comes with a custom
built tow body, 4 underbody boxes, a 5" trough with gooseneck
hitch, LED lights,an 70 gal fuel tank built in the headach
rack and is coated with Line-X. The front end sports a custom
bumper built out of 1/4 inch steel plate, housing 8"
Piaa lights. The motor has had a lot done to it, starting
with a new head that has been cut for fire rings 60 lb springs
and head studs. It also has a 3
piece exhaust manifold, a custom
turbo from High Tech Turbo with SS housing, custom injection
pump with 4000 governor springs, high
output injectors from DPP, 5"
exhaust and a Centerforce clutch. |
