This
tool can calibrate an unlimited number of vehicle speedometers, but
it is limited to the number of calibrations contained in the unit
at one time. Each unit can contain up to 100 calibrations, more calibrations
can be purchased online. Each unit when purchased starts out with
ten calibrations. |
Using
this tool is simple, it can be operated by anyone who has a general
knowledge of tire sizes. To calibrate an OEM speedometer:
- Plug the
OBD ll plug into a vehicles OBD ll port.
- Select the
correct vehicle application.
- Enter in
the new vehicle tire size.
The whole process
takes less than five minutes per vehicle. |
Adjust
to a large Range of tire sizes:
When going up in size, the Speedometer Calibration Tool can calibrate
for a maximum size of 38” tire diameter. The minimum size it
can calibrate is a 26” tire diameter. |

Bully Dog speedometer calibration & diagnostic tool serves two
functions: |
- Calibrates
the OEM in dash speedometer to read correctly with the addition
of a larger or smaller diameter aftermarket tire size
- Reads and
erases Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) that appear in a vehicles
computer when the vehicle has a problem
- Using this
tool is simple, it can be operated by anyone who has a general
knowledge of tire sizes
- The whole
process takes less than five minutes per vehicle

The Update Agent (PC Software):
This product is supported by a PC based software program called The
Update Agent™. The Update Agent was created for multiple reasons:
- To
make the renewal process easy: Simply plug the unit into
a PC via USB cable and download more calibrations through the
Update Agent.
- add
new vehicle applications:
R&D will continue on this product beyond the release to include
new vehicle applications, all new vehicle applications can be
automatically loaded onto the Speedometer Calibration & Diagnostic
Tool through the Update Agent.
- To
handle product technical issues: In the event of an issue
with the product, our staff can trouble shoot and fix problems
through the Update Agent. The Update Agent software is included
with each unit sold and contains no service fees for use. The
software is also available with a free download at www.bullydog.com.
