The ATS Billet
Steel Tie Rod Sleeves are designed to fix the Achilles tendon
of GM's steering system. When a GM truck launches in 4wd the
front tires buckle inwards toward the tie rod. With a modified
or lifted truck this problem is amplified and puts extreme stress
on the tie rods. This extra stress causes the sleeves to snap
in half.
To eliminate this problem ATS has designed solid Billet Steel Tie
Rod Sleeves to replace the weak factory units. Not only will these
prevent breakage but will also improve your front wheel traction when
launching.
