Traditionally, diesel engines have huge torque due to their
long stroke. Torque helps with the heavy lifting and hauling
most associated with diesel vehicles. Still, since even a large
diesel engine usually cannot get above 2,000 RPM, horsepower
never was much of a consideration.

a boost with the use of common-rail direct injection and turbochargers
that increased diesel power levels beyound 300 HP and 600 ft-lb

MXP
Series - system features an even larger
filter with more dirt holding capacity for longer service
intervals and a large, Deep-Breathing, one-piece rotational-molded
air box with a ram-style inlet. The new air box makes
maximum use of the area for filter housing and includes
a lower air scoop for additional air flow shielded from
the heat of the engine compartment.
CAD (Cold Air Dam Intake)
- Designed to work in today's high-tech vehicles, the
CAD series is setting new standards in automotive performance
and innovation. Designed for applications in which the
original filter location provides maximum airflow. The
CAD helps to isolate excessive hot air away from the filter.
This provides a much denser airflow charge.
QF (Quick Fit Series)
- The Quick Fit Series Intakes are based on our CAD intake
design but are engineered to fit in the original filter
base using the OE mounting clips and clamps. The Quick
Fit installs in just minutes with the ease of replacing
a stock filter.

What's the difference?
SynthaFlow
filter are built using multiple layers of cotton
gauze combined with a set of unique synthetic materials that
results in superior filtration. This maximum filtration is provided
with no sacrifice to airflow that gives you maximum horsepower,
torque, and fuel economy. This oiled filter provides the best
combination of airflow and filtration and only requires servicing
every 30-50K miles. The servicing is simple, although it takes
a little time for your filter to dry after cleaning. It’s
always a good idea to have a spare filter to replace it with
so that your vehicle is always raring to go.
SynthaMax
filters are made of 100% synthetic materials.
These filters increase efficiency in your filtration and airflow
by 99+%. The great thing about SythaMax is that these filter
are non-oiled, which means that servicing the filters is much
easier and does not require an AirAid Serving Kit. Regular
household detergents are all that’s needed to restore
this filter. Although the servicing of this filter is required
more often, many people find that not needing to buy a servicing
kit is more than enough reason to choose SythaMax. Even after
many services, your filter will still maintain that iconic
red look that you want in your AirAid filter.
