BD’s 5 Ply Intercooler Hose 3" for 1994-2002 Dodge Cummins diesels is a great upgrade. Each Hose is designed to meet 3x their working pressure, Utilizing 4, 5 plies of DuPont Nomex / Aramid fiber (no inferior Polyester is used) . Higher pressure applications have a Red Iron Oxide internal color . Flurosilicone elastomers and Fluorocarbon withstands oily residues. Spring loaded 300 Series Stainless Steel band clamping force remains consistent through heat cycles. Many specific kits for specific vehicles, turbochargers and intercoolers

All clamps are different but I would shop for 3” clamps that will open to accommodate this boot and this will give you more clamp. A 3.5, depending on its working sizing, may be too big.
